Planet was born out of a desire to provide the best illustration service.
Illustrating for over 30 years comes with a story to tell. And in that time commissions have come from many household names here in the United Kingdom, and across the world.
What planet does
Many of the illustration commissions are of a technical nature, which fits well with the technical illustration background Adrian gained at Falmouth School of Art and design. Taking on complex topics that often have a specialist nature, a technical illustration is often needed. But that’s only half of the story.
The other half of the story
Many illustrations commissioned are graphical in style, leaning towards editorial art. Graphic illustrations for magazine covers, Artist impressions and even a little animation. An area Adrian hopes to develop more.

When you commission Adrian, you will find him friendly and enthusiastic to help you. Just read the reviews to learn more about the professional service they get.
Normally he will discuss your needs as a customer. He will also ask about the target audience that might steer the style of illustration and its approach.
Within the commission you get free consultation to compliment the illustrations and updated with progress and any suggestions around points possibly missed during the brief.
All this helps both customer and illustrator to understand how to get the best out of the illustration commission.
A happy customer is
When the illustration is finished, and you’re completely happy with the illustration, then and only then will you be invoiced. So please don’t be shy. A happy customer is a happy Adrian.
