Cover illustration for a digital trade magazine exploring the wide range of employee roles within the global solar energy industry.
Concept:
The illustration reflects the main cover story, which focused on the many people working across diverse roles in solar energy worldwide. The aim was to present a colourful, inclusive depiction of individuals from different backgrounds, unified within a single visual system.
Styling:
A checkerboard layout was chosen as a fair and equal way to present each character. Shared colour palettes were used strategically to visually connect the 25 individual figures, creating cohesion while still allowing each character to retain a distinct identity.
Notes:
Working closely with the client, we aim to create something visually unique with every publication. This project was particularly enjoyable, pushing both stylistic and conceptual boundaries.
