Concept:
CJ Racing required a distinctive logo to complement and elevate their brand identity. Visual references to eagles and Japanese products were key considerations, alongside practical requirements for use on racing helmets and team badges. As a UK-based racing team aiming to raise its profile within the karting sector, the team logo needed to feel dynamic, competitive, and instantly recognisable.
Styling:
The client provided an open brief, requesting a design that would work equally well across junior and senior karting categories in the UK. Versatility and clarity at small scale were essential, particularly for application on badges.
Notes:
The team logo was developed through multiple stages, beginning with exploratory pencil sketches to encourage discussion and direction. This was followed by a range of refined design options and colour ways for client review. Final artwork was supplied using Adobe illustrator in multiple file formats, ensuring compatibility across a wide range of print and digital media.
