Description:
illustration map of Oxford and Cambridge business connections was commission specifically to promote the business area between Oxford and Cambridge, a highly regarded technological region in the UK. Creatively the design was inspired by the famous London Underground map.
Concept:
The primary objective was to create a graphical map that visually emphasised the connections and relationships between these two prominent business areas.
Styling:
The styling behind the map involved adopting a graphical style reminiscent of the iconic “London Underground” map for the surrounding areas. However, within the connecting Oxford and Cambridge, a more traditional and accurate representation of the routes was employed to provide clear and precise information. Adobe illustration was used to create this map.
