Concept:
The brief was to produce an 8-second animation showing a generic leisure centre assembling itself in stages. Individual sections grow and combine to form a complete facility, creating a clear and engaging visual narrative within a very short timeframe.
Styling:
The client requested that the animation follow the visual language of a supplied reference. Walls rise vertically from the floor to full height, followed by interior elements flying in from multiple directions and snapping into place. Using SketchUp and third party plugins to produce the animation. The result is a clean, dynamic build sequence that feels modern and accessible.
Notes:
The animation and its accompanying illustration were later adapted into themed versions for seasonal campaigns, including Halloween and Christmas. An additional illustration, following the same visual style, was also produced for a Soft Play themed promotion for the leisure centres of Everyone Active.
